Oklahoma authorities contend a vast stone fell from a lorry and went by a windshield of a flitting SUV, murdering dual women who were passengers in a smaller vehicle.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says a lethal collision happened Tuesday nearby Pauls Valley, that is about 50 miles south of Oklahoma City. The women killed were 89-year-old Wanda Oliver and 83-year-old Flora Perkins, who were both from Pauls Valley. The SUV’s motorist wasn’t hurt.
Patrol mouthpiece Sarah Stewart says one of a women was in a front newcomer chair and a other was in a back chair when a stone hit. It weighed 40 or 50 pounds.
She says a truck’s motorist was located Wednesday and that investigators are assured he wasn’t wakeful of what had happened. He wasn’t arrested.
